Checking the stage…Four sets a day and five on Sunday, on a little stage in the front window, so the band plays with Broadway glowing behind them. Pick a day.

Mondays at 10:30pm: Joshua Hedley & the Hedliners, a Robert's regular since 2005. Wednesdays at 10:30pm: The Cowpokes. Friday and Saturday afternoons: JesseLee Jones & Brazilbilly, the house band since 1995.
In the 1960s and '70s, Shot Jackson's Sho-Bud company built and sold pedal steel guitars right here. Robert's own history says Willie Nelson bought Trigger in this building in 1969.

A fried bologna sandwich piled high, a bag of chips, a MoonPie and an ice-cold PBR. Six dollars, every day, from the grill behind the bar.
