Made to be handed down.
American clothes from the Rhode Island coast: oxford cloth, fisherman knits and sailor stripes that get better every season on the water, and that we'll mend for as long as you wear them.
Shown on the left cuff Your initials, stitched while you watch.
Every Newport Oxford can carry a monogram on the left cuff, sewn in our Newport workroom the way it's been done for a century. Type yours and watch it go on.
Six pieces for the water.
Cut and sewn in small runs, numbered like the plates in an old catalogue. Hover over a plate (or tap it) to see the cloth up close.
After the race, the club.

Three promises, kept since 1946.
Mended for life.
Send back anything we've made, in any shape, and our workroom repairs it. Free, for as long as you own it.
Monogrammed in house.
Every monogram is sewn by our own hands in Newport, never sent out. Ready in five days.
Made in small runs.
A few hundred of each piece a season, numbered, so nothing ends up on a clearance rack.
We started with one shirt and a mooring in Newport Harbor. The idea was simple then and it hasn't changed: make clothes good enough that you'd want to give them to someone, and then make sure they last long enough to.
